My Surface Treatment art reviews have been published in The Monitor, McAllen Texas, on a mas o menos weekly schedule. Their purpose was to raise the art awareness of the community and to let them know what was being shown, hopefully encouraging people to go see the shows. The writing style explains the content, intent, and success of the work on exhibition, giving the general viewer a springboard from which to agree or disagree with my viewpoint.

The reviews have been ongoing since 2003 and now total almost 700. Solo exhibitions are listed by the artist and title of the show; group shows by title and location. I will be posting them by year, from recent to earliest, and this will be ongoing until I get them all up. Hard copies are available at the Monitor offices for up to 5 years, and thereafter, electronically archived at the McAllen Public Library.
